The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation partners with networks of schools and school support organizations that work together to solve common problems by using evidence-based interventions that best fit their needs.
The Political Intelligence dashboard brings together key internal and external data in a centralized place to help the foundation with knowledge management and decision making. Key tracking metrics, text, and documents are displayed on a state-by-state basis.
Multiply Bureau’s role on this project was to take a working prototype and expand it by building a permanent database, revising UX and visual design to make it more user-friendly, and building a data scraper app to provide automated data.
The dashboard brings together data from multiple sources, both automatically and manually generated, using the R package, Shiny.
